Rooted in the Pacific Northwest. Committed to Resilient Communities.

ROAM Northwest was founded on a simple belief: every community deserves access to practical, high-quality hazard mitigation planning support, regardless of its size, staffing, or available resources.

Based in Oregon and serving communities throughout the Pacific Northwest, ROAM specializes in helping local governments, Tribal Nations, special districts, and community organizations navigate natural hazard mitigation planning and turn complex requirements into meaningful action.

Our Background

ROAM Northwest was established by a hazard mitigation professional with experience supporting federal and state emergency management programs, including mitigation planning, grant administration, technical assistance, and interagency coordination.

That experience includes working with local and Tribal governments, evaluating multi-hazard mitigation plans, supporting federally funded mitigation projects, and developing approaches to plan maintenance, monitoring, and implementation.

This background informs ROAM's commitment to practical solutions, responsive partnerships, and planning that communities can sustain.
